Thomas Beall, GingerWolf, is an apparent contradiction. He is a realist and a visionary. The combination of his practical mind and his warm heart creates a dissonance that comforts and challenges the soul.
Getting the chance to draw and paint Thomas was so much fun. I had the privilege of working from life for both the painting and the drawing of Thomas. I think the final products capture a special quality about Thomas that is hard to tie down in a photograph. His quip remarks and fast reactions reside on the surface. I’m excited that I had the chance to capture the other side of Thomas – the side that engages in deep thoughts which displays his sincere concern for those around him.
